Ingrown Toe Nail

People of all ages and from all walks of life suffer from ingrown toe nails. GP’s and A&E staff commonly prescribe antibiotics to help with the ensuing infection when the ingrown toe nail is not treated promptly with removing the ingrown nail spike.
The minor surgical procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and is covered by your medical insurance.
The procedure involves removing the side of the nail only with a small section of nail being
removed. A chemical called Phenol is used to burn the nail root and permanently cure the ingrown toe nail.
No time off work is required and post patients can wear normal shoes straight after.
We perform the procedure at Cadogan clinic in Chelsea, London SW1X 9BW and at 27 Harley Street Clinic. Toe nail surgery is performed by our podiatrist.
